I was born and raised in New York, 3rd child of four, raised by a single mother who did the best she could. Home life wasn’t easy, and there were plenty of challenges, but looking back, I can see God had a plan through it all, even in the difficult moments.
As a teenager, I attended my grandmother’s church and youth group. I was around faith, but it wasn’t personal to me. That changed at 19 when I was saved in a Spanish church—different from the one I grew up in. That’s where everything became real, where I truly encountered the Lord and gave my life to Him. I entered the church dead, but I left alive, born again and transformed by the power of the Spirit of God.
It was also in that church where I met my beautiful wife. At 21, we got married and started our life together with our 3 kids. Over the years, God continued to work in my heart. In 2006, I knew He was calling me to plant a church. But His timing is perfect, and I had to wait. So I waited—patiently, prayerfully, trusting His plan.
In the meantime, I dedicated myself to serving in the places God called me to be, learning, growing, and preparing for what was ahead. I spent over 20 years in youth ministry, young adult ministry, worship ministry, and more. For the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an assistant pastor at Calvary Chapel Gulf Coast. Through it all, God has been shaping me, equipping me, and deepening my passion for His people.
Now, in 2025, that calling has become clear. God has opened the door, and I’m stepping out in faith to plant the church He placed on my heart so many years ago. I’m excited for this journey—to serve, to share the love of Christ, and to see what God will do.
